Waking up at 4:30 Am isn’t easy but seeing this at the trail head to Boulder mt. was a enough to ease the pain. Nov 4th and 6ft of freshies waiting for us at the top.

Anna Boone our coveted photographer and myself loading the sleds for the morning ride up the 20 km trail to the cabin at the top of Boulder mt. It’s 11:30 am and we have the trail head to ourselves. Do the locals not know what they are missing? Who cares more for the Whislter girls!

Stopping only to realize Anna’s backpack has been eaten by the sled track. Ohhh noo! Time for Nads to turn around in search of Anna’s backpack contents. Remember to strap your pack down well, or it will look something like this….

Opps! Sorry Anna. Good thing your Camera was not in there.

My Ingrid Backstrom impersonation. AHHHHH BLISTEX!

Taking a stroll all smiles. True interior snow all light and fluffy. Common you would have made a snow angel too, right?

This was one of my favorite shots. Look at all that snow. Not a rock or patch of ground in sight. SOO Stoked. This was just below the Cabin on Boulder after we rolled the sled and were told our 09 and its driver Nadia were having some technical difficulties. Thank you fellow sledders!

Towing the 09. We ripped our die down in the backpack disaster of the day and had to be very careful about how fast we towed the sled back to our truck. Here I am trying my best to catch Anna and give her a high five.

All smiles at the trail head. Time to load the dead 09 on the truck. It took us 30 minutes of hard labour. Good thing we all trained hard doing Crossfit this summer( www.crossfit.com) or we would have had to ask the boys coming off the mountain after us for help.
Ok Girls lets go find a hotel, and a sled dealership.
